Your Goods Will Be Made Ready For Collection From The Wednesday Before Your Event And Must Be Returned On The Following Monday. All Boxes & Packaging Supplied With Hire Goods Must Be Returned As Collected. Failure To Return These Will Result In Substantial Charges.

Collection is either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday the week of your event and drop back to us the following Monday. If you could let us know what day you are collecting it would be greatly appreciated. (10am - 5pm)

Wear & Tear: The Client understands that The Company’s items are in good working order but are not in “as new” condition. Once the hired items have left The Company’s premises we deem the hire period to have begun and the hire items satisfactory and fit for purpose. We will  not accept any complaints made after the items have been returned.

 

DELIVERY & COLLECTION 

  • Our Delivery Service Is Purely A Drop-Off Of The Items And Is Not A Setup Service
    - Hire Items Ordered Will Be Delivered To Ground Floor Level Only In Storage Boxes Ready For Use
    - Delivery Is Available On Thursday Between 10am And 4pm
    - Collection Is Available On Monday Between 10am And 4pm
    - Items To Be Collected Must Be Boxed And Packed Ready For Collection. Any Failure To Do So Will Result In Charges.
    - Any Items Missing Will Be Notified To The Hirer On The Next Working Day Upon Which Replacement Charges Will Be Made.

Terms & Conditions

Price
The Contract Price stated in the booking form is based on the prevailing costs at the time of the quotation. If in the period up to the completion of the contract there is any increase in cost to the company or a variation in the services required by the customer, then the contract price shall be amended accordingly. Prices quoted are subject to VAT @ 20%.

Payment
The customer shall pay, in pounds sterling as per the payment terms set out in the booking form. A default in these payments may result in services not being provided on the event day.

Booking Confirmation
The contract is only confirmed when the booking form has been digitally accepted and returned to Essential Couture  along with requested deposits.

Performance
Essential Couture Ltd shall be relieved of its contractual obligations in the event that performance thereof is prevented or delayed or indirectly by an act of God, war, riot, strike, labour disturbance, industrial dispute, fire, flood explosion or any cause beyond the control of the Company. If for any of these reasons the Contract is not completed the Customer shall pay the Contract price less the costs not expended to date. Performance of the Contract is subject to the availability of the Company's property. The Company at its sole discretion reserves the right to substitute unavailable Company property of a similar quality, specification and performance. The Company may sub-contract all or any part of the services.

Company Property and Damage
All property used of supplied by the Company in connection with the Contract shall, unless expressly agreed by the Company in writing, be on hire for the duration of the event. The Customer will be responsible for the Company's property from the time of delivery up until the time of collection by the Company. Damage to the Company's property by guests, the venue, or any party involved, will be the responsibility of the customer to recover the costs for replacement of damaged equipment.

Transport, Delivery, Collection & Set up
Delivery, Collection and Set up charges will apply on all items hired (if requiring our set up service). Please be aware this cost may vary if additional items or time restraints are added to your booking after initial consultation.

Flowers
The Company does not accept liability for wilting of flowers due to excess heat in any venue. Please note that breakages of vases must be paid in full. The Company will try to the best of its ability to meet your floral requirements, but due to seasonal changes and availability, they cannot accept responsibility for colour, variety and price changes of a flower.

Cancellation
If, for any reason, the Customer terminates the contract after confirmation of the order payments will become due according to the following schedule:
I) Cancellation more than two calendar months before the Event Date - 40% of the quoted price will become due for payment.
ii) Cancellation from two calendar months until 21 days before the Event Date - 50% of the quoted price will become due for payment.
iii) Cancellation from 21 days before and until the Event Date - 100% of the Contract price less the costs not expended to date.

Order Changes/Cancellation or Reduction of Hire Goods:
Reductions in the quantities of hire goods within one month of the event date will not be refunded. Additions to hire goods quantities are subject to availability at the time of request only and not guaranteed.
